There are 4 states that start with A None that start with B Three that have the letter C One that starts with D There is no state that starts with E One each for F and G So far you should have 10 Do you know what they could be? There’s one for H and 4 for I Nothing starts with J K has two … L has one M & N have 8 I say O has 3 and P has one Nothing starts with Q R is one all by itself S is next with two Two for T is next in line Then there’s one for U Two again for V Four for W X & Y & Z come next But your list was done before After you name the W’s There aren’t anymore Did you name all 50 states?
