Seasons VERSE 1 I like it when it’s summertime It’s always time to play The sun’s the only coat I need Warms me with every ray I like to walk down by a stream See the water dancing by And watch it turn to diamonds By the sunbeams from the sky BRIDGE The trees turn pretty colors Each and every fall I run though every pumpkin patch To find the best one of them all I get to dress in costumes Ride in wagons full of hay A parade is down on Main Street It’s Thanksgiving Day CHORUS I know there are four seasons Summer, winter, spring and fall I can’t decide which one I like Because I love them all VERSE 2 Then winter comes to visit The snow is coming down There’s lights and decorations In every part of town I can build a snowman Or travel on a sled To see the lighted houses Blue Orange Green and Red BRIDGE Then one day when I wake up I hear birds begin to sing It’s time to make the change Today’s the start of Spring Flowers start to grow once more Rain gently starts to fall I think I see a rainbow I like them most of all CHORUS I know there are four seasons Summer, winter, spring and fall I can’t decide which one I like Because I love them all |
